This tractor is also equipped with heavy duty bull gears and pinions which can be found in most crawl-air chassis. I also had to replace the left rear extension Housing seals and some bearings. Had to replace all the trans gears bearings, Ring & Pinion and control diff. Differential and out drives have been completely reconditioned. 1 shows all the heavy parts on my trailer where I pressure washed them clean. Moving forward we have not had any real cold weather yet so I can work outside. 4 shows engine on its way out of the tractor. 3 Hood radiator gas tank removed and engine is ready to pull out of the chassis.

Pic No.2 loader arms are now out of the way and ready to remove engine. 1 shows the tractor in the shop and disassembly beginning. This will not be a long drawn out story since the job is now complete and the OC-3 is now back working. The pictures that follow in this thread will show and I will tell the rest of the story as we go along. The rebuild this winter is the forth time I have had to go completelt through the tractor. The problem is It just becomes totally worn out every ten years or so. I call it bullet proof because it has been a long time since anything broke. As a metal worker, every time something broke on this unit I reengineerer and reinforced it. I use this tractor to do many jobs that it was never intended to do and over the years it has been highly stressed in every way. This tractor, as you will see, has been highly modified during the 40 years I have owner it. I use it on a regular basis for building walls, moving tractors in my collection, landscaping, hauling wood and anything else that requires heavy lifting. I have owner this unit since 1970 and I could not imagine my life without it. Over the past winter I rebuilt my only work tractor from the ground up.
